A VISIT TO THE CINEMA

 A visit to the cinema - watching a film about Leonardo da Vinci. The film tells the story of the later stage of Leonardo Da Vinci's life. The scientist-artist leaves Rome to go to the court of the King of France. There he hopes to find more freedom to pursue his own ideas than under the protection of the Pope. However, it turns out that serving the king is not without its challenges either. Fortunately, Leonardo finds a soulmate there: the Princess Margaret, who is sincerely interested in his inventions. Together they begin to search for answers to the questions that trouble them: what is the soul and what is man for?

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

 

The European Day of Languages in our school - the students took part in the school competition - they had to prepare a drawing presenting a member of EU greeting other people in their native language. It was a part of the Erasmus + accreditation.

Language and training courses

In July the headmistress and two teachers took part in language and training courses. The headmistress and the Music teacher took part in a 10 day – English course in Dublin, Ireland and an English teacher took part in a training course  „ChatGPT - How to handle AI in Schools” in
Porto, Portugal. The gained language and AI skills will be beneficial for students and teachers in our school and the whole project itself.

GREEN ECOACADEMY JUNE 2024

 

At school age, science subjects such as chemistry or physics are often treated as a necessary evil by students, and require a lot of effort to understand. It turns out, however, that there are ways to convey the science of nature in a simple way, and one of one of them is experimentation. Every child loves experiments. It's a great way to learn about the world. At the Eco-academy, the young scientists from class 2b found out what volcanoes are and how balloons can be inflated in an interesting way. They also observed dancing sultanas. The children learnt about the concept of pH and tested the reaction of different liquids using universal paper. The second-graders discovered that, after all, the most important substance is the love of science.
