AN INVITED EXPERT VISIT

 We had an honour to guest Frank Oida, who came to our school as an invited expert.  His stay was four days long and during this time he conducted a series of training sessions not only for teachers, but also for students. He showed us how his school implements good practices connected with ecology, he taught teachers from the whole Podkarpackie province how they teach English in Spain, he conducted speaking lessons for students. His stay made us realise what we can do better and what improvements we should introduce to make our school more European and more ecological.

ECO FASHION REVUE

On 14 December 2023, the final of the Communal Competition "Eco Fashion Revue" took place at the Municipal Cultural, Sports and Recreation Centre in Świlcza, based in Trzciana.

 

The participants' task was to make a costume out of recycled materials with their parents and present it during the competition. Our kindergarten was represented by two groups, "Inventors", composed of Barbara Iwaszek, and "Explorers", composed of Antoni Chmiel, Aleksander Czech, Jonatan Krasoń and Karol Kuśper. Our models presented their ecological creations with seriousness, grace and without the slightest trepidation.

 The jury appreciated the imaginative and colourful eco costumes, awarding distinctions to children from both pre-school groups.

 Congratulations on their performance and we wish them further success!

CHRISTMAS EVE STORY

 On Friday, December 22, 2023, Class V and VI watched "A Christmas Eve Story." As we read on the website of the Maska Theater, where the play is performed, "the play is a spirited, stylish adaptation of Charles Dickens' short story of the same title, realized in a Victorian atmosphere." The story of Ebenezer Scrooge presented on the stage of the theater wowed the young audience. Costumes, decorations, props, and most of all the play of actors and... special effects made us watch the play with great pleasure. Afterwards, we walked together through the festively decorated streets of Rzeszow and watched the nativity scene located in the Rzeszow Market Square.
