Who was St. Patrick? Why is he the patron of Ireland? Do you know the fairytale about the leprechaun and it's pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

JOB SHADOWING IN POLAND
THREE TEACHERS FROM ITALY TO VISIT OUR SCHOOL
Three teachers from Italy - Alessandro, Gulia and Sabina -
came to our school from March 10 to 12, 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ program
for a “job shadowing”, which consisted of observing various lessons and
learning about the work of a Polish school. In addition to the traditional
lessons, they also took part in the passporting of 1st grade students as
readers. During the visit, they also had the opportunity to visit picturesque
Łańcut, known for its beautiful castle, and Rzeszów, full of modern attractions.
During meetings with students and teachers, the Italian guests presented their
country, sharing culture, traditions and interesting facts. The exchange of
experiences was extremely valuable, enriching both Polish and Italian teachers
with new teaching methods and inspiration for further educational work.

AN INVITED EXPERT
VISIT OF AN EXPERT AS PART OF THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM
From March 3-7, our school had the honor of hosting Paolo
Ramalhoto as part of the Erasmus+ program. As an invited expert, Mr. Ramalhoto
conducted classes in English for students in grades IV-VIII, presenting his
country and school located near Porto, Portugal. In addition, he conducted a
workshop for teachers on the use of artificial intelligence in education,
demonstrating the Almanack.ai tool, which allows lesson planning and task
generation based on an uploaded curriculum.
The expert's visit was not limited to teaching work. On
Thursday, March 6, with favorable weather, the students of Class IV took part
in a tour of Rudna Wielka. During the tour, we presented our town, took
commemorative photos on the bridge and visited the stadium.
We sincerely thank Mr. Ramalhoto for the visit and hope to
continue our fruitful cooperation in future years of our accreditation.

A VISIT TO JAROSŁAW
With a visit to Jarosław!
On February 6, students of grades VI and VIII visited Jarosław, one of the oldest cities in our region.
They learned about the rich history of the city and the everyday life of its inhabitants by traversing the intricate corridors of Jaroslaw's underground, while listening to the stories of the guide ladies.
And although the day was cold and cloudy, everyone returned satisfied.

A DAY WITHOUT PLASTIC PACKAGING
A DAY WITHOUT PLASTIC PACKAGING
Students of our school are sensitive and aware young people
who care about the welfare of our planet. That's why they eagerly joined the
pro-environmental school action organized on the occasion of the Day without
plastic packaging celebrated on January 23.
And it was born in 2008 in... Poland.
Students of grades VII and VIII, during classes, expanded
their knowledge of the harmfulness of the use of plastic packaging, as well as
pro-environmental actions taken around the world, such as the Day without
plastic packaging. They were eager to share their ideas on how to reduce the
use of plastic packaging in everyday life.
Although foil is easy to snatch, its resistance to the
decomposition process is exceptionally high - the degradation of a typical
“disposable” plastic bag can take up to several hundred years, while its
average use time is only 25 minutes, while the production of a common “plastic
bag” is less than a second! More than 500 billion plastic bags end up as
garbage every year. These figures should excite our imagination and, above all,
prompt us to take concrete action.
