On October 29, the inaugural first session of the Youth Council of Świlcza Municipality took place.
Our school and village were represented by the newly elected
councillors: Wiktoria Czyż, Amelia Madej and Nataniel Krasoń.
🔸 During the session, the
newly elected councillors took the oath and received certificates of election,
presented by the Mayor of the Municipality, Mr Dawid Homa, and the Chair of the Council, Ms
Joanna Wdowik-Mika.
🔸 The council’s presidium
was elected, and Wiktor Cioch from Primary School in Świlcza became its
chairperson. Our councillors took part in the work of the scrutiny committee,
which organised the election of the presidium.
🔸 Participation in the
Council will be an opportunity to develop their interests, gain experience and
have a real influence on the local community.
