A COURSE IN MALTA

Teaching For Nature, Teaching For The Future

On 26–30 January, three teachers from our school took part in the ‘Teaching For The Nature, Teaching For The Future’ course in Miellieħa, Malta. The training was carried out as part of the Erasmus+ accreditation, which gives teachers the opportunity to improve their professional skills in an international environment.

During the course, participants learned about the principles of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The training focused on practical ways of implementing pro-environmental content into everyday teaching, developing a reflective approach to teaching, and methods of increasing student engagement and motivation.

The participants also gained knowledge and skills in planning and implementing inspiring, environmentally friendly educational projects, as well as promoting pro-environmental attitudes in the school community. An important element of the course was the exchange of experiences and good practices with teachers and educational staff from different European countries, which helped to broaden perspectives and establish international cooperation.
