A PREPARATORY VISIT IN SPAIN

The preparatory visit took place on the 25th November and lasted one week. During the stay in Marchena, near Seville we had a chance to meet in person the teachers we are going to cooperate with. We saw the school, the beautiful garden, the Science labolatory and the IT room. We discussed the whole projects, planned the future visits in both schools. We talked about dissemination of the project, its products and the exchange of good practices. The photos from the visit were shown to classes V, VII and VIII on 22nd December, 2024.

A VOLUNTEER FROM SPAIN

As part of our preparation to go to Spain in May, we invited a Spanish student to our school. She spoke in English about her country, language, the most typical dishes, weather and so on. She also

taught the students some basics of the Spanish language. It was a very fruitful meeting.

A VISIT TO THE CINEMA

On 20th December, the oldest students of our school went to the cinema to see one of the latest films "Marvel". It was in an original version, so they had a chance to practise their understanding of English.

How to prepare a healthy lunch box to school?

Use the Healthy Eating Plate as a guide for creating healthy, balanced meals—whether served at the table or packed in a lunch box. Students of Year 3 created a poster teaching younger friends what food should be on a plate.

They also talked about  food having  an enormous impact on the environment. Food production is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and it places an enormous demand upon our earth's natural resources.

Clean Air Day and Drama by EKOSKOP

Students of Year 3 took part in a show given by Katarzyna Ruszała from EKOSKOP. She told a story about a family of foxes, who lived in the forest. One day The Grandpa built a house nearby, threw away rubbish and his not eco frindly house produced SMOG. Animals in the forest did not feel very well, but they tried to teach The Grandpa the coulours of recycling and ecological way of living. Students were very interested and discussed the problem of proper rubbish segregation and ways of decresing the smog.

We believe that ecological education of young generations is crucial nowadyas.
